Year 1: Not Now, Bernard

The story is about a young boy named Bernard who is consistently ignored by his busy parents, even when he informs them there is a monster in the garden! The monster eats Bernard, takes over his life, and the parents fail to notice the change.

Durkhana: “The monster ate Bernard up and no one noticed.”

Ahmed: “The mummy and daddy need to listen to Bernard.”

Theodore: “I liked the book and the monster!”
